Have a Pie with Alpha Chi

Students enjoyed homemade pies and helped support the Women’s Outreach Center of Norman Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the women of Alpha Chi Omega’s annual Have a Pie at Alpha Chi fundraiser.

The Women’s Outreach Center is a non-profit agency supporting female victims of abuse, said Jordan Dinkins, public relations junior. Tickets were 4 dollars in advance and 5 dollars at the door with all proceeds benefiting the agency.

“It’s a great way to help the community, and no one ever complains about the pies!” said Dinkins.

Alpha Chi Omega had 1,200 people attend last year and raised over 12,000 dollars.

“We were all so happy with the amount we raised last year, and I’m pretty confident that this year we not only matched the amount, but exceeded it,” said Dinkins.
