Family Video Swaps Winning OU Tickets For Free Movie Rentals

Family Video has created a game day special offering free rentals to students if the Sooners win the home football game.

Family Video is a new movie and game store located on Classen and Constitution, within walking distance from Crimson Park and The Cottages of Norman. The new developments house many students and with a great location and good deals the store is very popular, said Chandler Shockey, psychology junior.

“We always rent movies on the weekends from Family Video because it’s cheap and so close. Last Saturday I went in with my ticket stub, claimed my free rental, and ended up getting four movies for six dollars,” said Shockey.

Family Video also offers specials for students on a budget like their rent three get one free movies along with a free membership with student ID. “If it keeps up these deals, I bet Family Video will be more popular than Blockbuster in no time,” said Shockey.
